Welcome to:

A visiting clinic & branch of the Central Perth Skin Clinic.

Ensuring the health of your skin is our top priority. We provide comprehensive skin cancer screening and effective management directly within our clinic whenever feasible. We operate seamlessly with visits from both a highly skilled Skin Cancer Doctor and a trained Dermoscopist (Non-Doctor).

What is the process?

Your appointment consists of our Dermoscopist Kalli, taking macroscopic photographs of your skin, this is called Total Body Photography.

Next your skin is examined more closely with a handheld magnifying device (dermoscope), and any lesions deemed as requiring further investigation are photographed in more detail.

These images are subsequently assessed by our medical professionals, who provide clear guidance on any concerning findings and the recommended follow-up. If required, you will then be offered an appointment with a Doctor at a subsequent visit.

During the Doctor’s visit, individuals requiring follow-up examination, treatment or procedures will be seen as a priority. The photographs taken by our Dermoscopist will be a valuable reference point when seeing the Doctor and also for any future skin examinations.

Where there are appointments remaining, these will be made available for skin checks with the Doctor. When these are available a link will generally be posted on our facebook page.

We strive to maintain a regular presence in Karratha, with our Dermoscopist visiting approximately every six weeks, and Doctor visits in between. This schedule allows us to deliver a thorough and accessible service to the city.

Kalli Hachey, Dermoscopist & Skin Screener

Kalli’s career in skin care began upon the completion of her qualification in Cosmetic Dermal Science, which served as a pathway to further studies in Dermoscopy (skin cancer detection) through QLD University.

Since 2019, she has proudly volunteered on the Lions Cancer bus, providing free skin cancer screening to individuals living in remote areas across WA, while also working as a Dermoscopist conducting corporate screenings for clients in their workplaces.

Recognising the value of this important work, Kalli is dedicated to providing a comprehensive assessment to ensure your peace of mind.
